Holy shit football is just around the corner. I am extremely excited to have 1 day and 3 nights a week that are completely occupied by sitting on the couch and judging some of the best athletes in the world for sucking at their sport just because they lost me my $10 bet. This game has a lot riding on the line in my opinion.
My take is that whoever loses this game is all in for Caleb Williams. We are 7 point favorites. I have already started hammering us and will likely have over $100 dollars on our spread before the game starts. In terms of how much I bet, this is like a quadruple max play can’t miss special. But if somehow we do fucking lose this game, then I’m wrapping it up for the season and it is all aboard the tank for Caleb train.
We do not need Terry and Chase for this game. Yes, I want to watch them dominate. But, if either of them go down for the season this game then I will be so pissed off and upset. It’s just not worth it. I really don’t have anything else to say about this game. I would not bet the over unless you think we are going to score 40 points. I can’t remember the last time we scored 40 points. And I do not think the Cardinals will score more than 10. They are going to be so fucking bad this year. I will be so unbelievably upset if we somehow manage to lose that game. With the crowd I am expecting, I think there’s just no way we don’t cover 7 points.
The stadium is sold out. Those are words that I never thought I would hear again in my lifetime. I was actually in attendance at the last game that we sold out. The 2012 playoff game against the Seahawks. We started so hot and the atmosphere was incredible. Only to watch RG3s career end right in front of my eyes and watch all time piece of shit Richard Sherman wave and tell everyone to beat the traffic while the RG3 was still on the ground with his leg bent in 7 different directions. I will never forget that moment. And I will always see Richard Sherman as a classless piece of shit because of it.
I expect the environment to match the same as when we were actually winning that game. I was lucky enough to go to the Baltimore preseason game for the first half. Something about FedEx felt very different. The new speaker system and actually being able to hear the band were pleasant surprises. I am extremely excited to see where the place will be after the renovations. Knowing that 40 million dollars is going to be put towards the stadium is really cool but also a little upsetting. I am very, very pro moving the stadium back to RFK. The $40,000,000 makes it pretty clear that the stadium is not going anywhere anytime soon.
The new ownership is already starting to show its colors. Regardless of our record at the end of this season, it will still be a win in my book because Snyder is gone forever. It has been so nice because whenever I’m having a bad day I just think about that and it helps put me into a better mood. I cannot wait for Sunday. It is going to be electric and we are going to destroy them. It’s the start of the Sam Howell and John Harris era. It is pretty nice that we happen to be playing possibly the worst team the league has seen since those terrible Brown’s teams. That should play a big role in starting everything off on the right foot.
